GoKolektif Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to GoKolektif! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the GoKolektif platform, including website features, campaign creation, and donation services. By accessing or using GoKolektif, you agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.

2. Eligibility

Users must be 18 years or older to create campaigns or make donations.

Accurate and truthful information must be provided during registration.

Organizations and legal entities may create campaigns if authorized representatives manage the account.

GoKolektif reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate eligibility criteria or local, national, or international laws.

Users from restricted countries or regions may not access the platform due to compliance with legal regulations.

3. Campaigns and Donations

All campaigns must adhere to GoKolektif’s guidelines and policies.

Campaigns promoting illegal activities, hate speech, fraud, or misleading content are prohibited.

Funds raised must be used solely for the stated purpose of the campaign. Misuse of funds may result in account suspension or legal action.

Campaign creators are responsible for providing regular updates to donors/Gokolektif and fulfilling commitments made during the campaign.

Refunds for donations are not guaranteed and are subject to GoKolektif’s discretion.

GoKolektif does not endorse or guarantee the accuracy, legitimacy, or success of any campaign.

4. Fees

A platform fee of 3% will be deducted from each campaign’s total funds to cover operational and administrative costs. Although there are no Platform fees to start or maintain a Fundraiser. 

A Transaction Fee is the cost of processing a payment. Additional transaction or currency conversion fees may apply, which are the responsibility of the campaign creator.

Platform fees are non-refundable, even if a campaign is suspended or terminated.

5. Limitation of Liability

GoKolektif is not liable for any misused funds, incomplete projects, or the conduct of campaign creators, donors, or third parties.

We do not guarantee the achievement of fundraising goals or the success of any campaign.

GoKolektif is not liable for damages resulting from technical issues, unauthorized access, loss of data, or other disruptions.

By using GoKolektif, you acknowledge that all campaigns are managed independently by their creators, and you participate at your own risk.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Your personal data is managed in accordance with our [Privacy Notice](link to Privacy Notice).

We collect, use, and process your data to operate, enhance, and market our platform.

You have the right to access, modify, or request the deletion of your personal data as outlined in our Privacy Notice.

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information, but we cannot guarantee absolute data security.

7. User Content License

Ownership: You retain ownership of all content you submit. GoKolektif does not claim ownership over your content.

License Grant: You grant GoKolektif a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, and promote your content for platform operation, marketing, and improvement.

Modification & Adaptation: We may edit or adapt your content for promotional purposes, ensuring no distortion or misrepresentation.

User Representations: You confirm that your content does not infringe on third-party rights, including copyrights, trademarks, or privacy rights.

Content Removal: You may request content removal by contacting [support email]. However, past promotional materials may continue to display your content.

Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold GoKolektif harmless from any claims, damages, or losses related to your content.

No Obligation to Use: We reserve the right to use or not use your content at our discretion.

8. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, and platform content are the property of GoKolektif. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

You may not use GoKolektif’s intellectual property without prior written consent.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, misuse the platform, or engage in illegal activities.
