Volunteer Guidelines

  1. Introduction

Welcome to goKolektif’s Volunteer Program. By registering as a volunteer, you agree to the terms outlined below, which govern your participation in assisting project creators on the platform.

2. Eligibility

  • Have an unexpired government Haitian ID or Passport. 
  • Certificat Bonne vie et mÅ“urs 
  • Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
  • Volunteers must create a verified profile on goKolektif.
  • Volunteers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in their  department of residence.
  • Have access to connect to the internet. 
  • Have a minimum of computer skills. 
  • Post and share the project on your social media platform
  • Find sponsorships to collect the amount needed for the project.

3. Role and Responsibilities

  • Volunteers are responsible for assisting project creators in developing and submitting their proposals.
  • Tasks may include, but are not limited to:
  • Drafting project descriptions.
  • Financial planning and budgeting.
  • Technical or literacy support.
  • Volunteers must provide accurate and high-quality assistance to maintain giKolektif’s standards.

4. Compensation

  • Volunteers will receive a percentage of the funds raised for each project they assist upon successful completion.
  • The percentage is set at 5% of the total funds raised (subject to change with notice).
  • Compensation is processed after the project is fully funded and any necessary post-funding processes are completed.
  • Payments are made through goKolektif’s integrated payment systems, such as MonCash or other supported gateways.

5. Tracking and Reporting

  • Volunteers must link their profile to the project they assist.
  • GoKoleqtif will track volunteer contributions through an internal system to ensure proper reward allocation.

6. Code of Conduct

  • Volunteers must act respectfully and professionally with project creators and other community members.
  • Harassment, discrimination, or any form of unethical behavior will result in immediate removal from the program.

7. Non-Liability

  • GoKolektif is not responsible for disputes between volunteers and project creators.
  • Volunteers acknowledge that goKolektif does not guarantee the funding or success of any project.

8. Confidentiality

  • Volunteers must maintain the confidentiality of sensitive project information they access.
  • Any misuse of confidential information will result in legal action.

9. Amendments

  • GiKolektif reserves the right to modify these terms at any time.
  • Volunteers will be notified of any changes, and continued participation constitutes acceptance.

10. Termination

  • Volunteers may terminate their participation at any time with written notice.
  • GoKolektif reserves the right to terminate a volunteer’s role for failure to comply with these terms or other platform policies.
